Diptyque Paris: 6-month Trade Marketing Assistant internship coordinating retail events, workshops, and client programs for luxury perfume brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of in-store events and workshops, including scheduling, team briefings, client phone outreach, attendance tracking, and cancellation management
  • Welcome clients and introduce workshops in-store; oversee space setup with vendors and deliver opening and closing remarks
  • Analyze event performance through qualitative client feedback collection and consolidation of event-related sales data
  • Support event booking efforts by preparing client lists and segmentations for team distribution
  • Prepare team briefing materials for upcoming events
  • Collect and process B2B requests for event organization
  • Conduct inventory management of event-related equipment and materials
  • Monitor and analyze CRM key performance indicators and clienteling activities across the French retail store network
  • Support the customer loyalty program by sharing current promotional operations and conducting monthly performance indicator reviews
  • Prepare briefing documents for ongoing CRM initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac +4/5) from a business school or comparable university program
  • Prior retail experience is mandatory
  • Demonstrable experience in luxury sectors such as cosmetics, beauty, skincare, or fragrance is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent English (written and oral)
  • Strong attention to detail and creative thinking
  • Ability to communicate effectively, mobilize teams, and collaborate productively

Experience
