Diptyque seeks a Stock Associate for two Paris boutiques. Manage inventory, stock optimization, and inter-store transfers in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Optimize and organize inventory across two boutique locations, ensuring efficient stock management
- Manage product flows including receipt verification, unpacking, quality control, and reserved stock placement
- Prepare and oversee inter-boutique product transfers and monitor transfer documentation
- Replenish point-of-sale merchandise on the sales floor based on demand and visual merchandising standards
- Support sales teams in order preparation, including gift wrapping and omnichannel fulfillment
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of stock levels and product location across both boutiques to facilitate cross-store collaboration and information sharing
- Participate in general and rolling inventory counts; identify and reconcile stock discrepancies
- Understand commercial objectives and propose action plans to optimize inventory performance and stock turn
Qualifications
- Proven experience in stock management within a luxury retail environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Cegid software preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment
