Diptyque seeks a part-time Seasonal Stock Associate in New York to manage inventory and receiving operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process all shipping, receiving, returns-to-vendors, transfers, and damage reports accurately and efficiently per Company policies
- Maintain an orderly and well-organized stock and receiving area with adherence to housekeeping and general store maintenance standards
- Ensure accurate processing of inbound freight and company property controls in compliance with established policies
- Participate in all inventory and cycle counts
- Assist with floor moves, merchandising displays, and display maintenance
- Support sales floor operations as needed and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Assist in processing price changes and packaging merchandise for customers
- Communicate effectively with the corporate operations team
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and security protocols
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in luxury retail industry
- Previous retail stock, shipping, receiving, and sales floor experience
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes and merchandise throughout the store
- Demonstrated ability to operate inventory-control computer systems and office equipment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills

Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in luxury retail inventory, stock, shipping, or receiving operations, with demonstrated proficiency in handling merchandise and managing receiving operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
