Diptyque Stock and Operations Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate team members by leading by example and maintaining high standards in both stock and sales floor environments
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping, receiving, transfers, returns-to-vendors, and damage procedures in compliance with Company policies
• Maintain an orderly and well-organized stock and receiving area, along with general store maintenance and cleanliness
• Manage inventory control operations including delivery processing, adjustments, replenishment, and inter-store transfers
• Execute cycle counts and oversee semiannual inventory counts (shrink) including preparation and execution
• Process outbound deliveries with accuracy and efficiency, including client orders, store-to-store transfers, and returns-to-vendors
• Manage omnichannel services including e-reservations, click-and-collect, messaging, and engraving services
• Communicate regularly with the corporate operations team and complete quarterly operational checklists with action plans
• Serve as a key holder, responding to emergency situations and managing the store in the absence of Store Management
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Diptyque products and represent the brand by articulating seasonal ranges
• Complete opening and closing checklists, ensure cash desk procedure compliance, and monitor all security and health and safety protocols
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and price changes throughout the boutique
• Support solving operational problems and making informed decisions affecting receiving area service and productivity

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience in the luxury sector, with management experience preferred
• Proven ability to lead projects and tasks with a team-oriented, assertive, and dynamic approach
• Expertise in handling receiving operations and managing stock levels effectively
• Proficiency with inventory-control computer systems and office equipment
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, cleanliness, and personal grooming as a brand representative

Experience

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in retail stock, shipping, and receiving operations, with preference for luxury retail or management background. Candidates should demonstrate proven success managing inventory control, processing freight, and leading operational improvements in a retail environment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.
