Diptyque seeks a Sales Performance Analyst in New York, USA to manage retail and wholesale analytics, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze KPI reports, sales analyses, and product performance reports for wholesale and retail channels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Prepare and analyze productivity reports, sales incentives calculations, and compensation data for wholesale and retail teams
- Prepare monthly commercial budget files and monitor ongoing monthly sales forecasts
- Prepare and analyze annual sales store budgets and conduct ongoing financial forecasting
- Update distribution and market share reporting by retailer and by point of sales
- Perform strategic analysis on product assortment, sales by category, and performance trends
- Build ad hoc sales reports for retail and wholesale channels with business insights and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Wholesale and Retail Regional Directors on performance initiatives
- Optimize business intelligence tools and point-of-sale systems; serve as master user for the sales department
- Build and document standardized procedures for all reports utilized across the department
- Foster continuous performance dialogue by monitoring commercial KPIs and encouraging proactive performance improvement
- Review and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews for leadership
- Lead cross-functional projects with clear methodology, thorough follow-up, and collaborative execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail or wholesale operations
- Luxury beauty or fashion industry experience (preferred)
- Strong financial acumen and analytical expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools and point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities
- Agile mindset with ability to adapt to evolving situations and tools
- Critical thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail or wholesale operations. Luxury beauty or fashion industry experience is strongly preferred. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in sales analytics, financial reporting, and business performance management within a multi-channel retail environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field is preferred.
