Diptyque Sales Assistant seasonal role on Bond Street, London, supporting luxury fragrance retail, sales and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximise retail sales and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, representing Diptyque as a luxury Brand Ambassador.
- Deliver agreed store sales KPIs covering sales, ATV, UPT, conversion and CRM.
- Understand daily and weekly business objectives and KPI requirements, including reporting for the host store and Diptyque; assist with boutique reporting when needed.
- Approach and assist every customer to achieve sales targets, maintain strong customer relationships and deliver impeccable service.
- Work with the team on in-store and off-site events as required.
- Keep product knowledge current, including key trends, promotions and launches, and attend company training sessions.
- Maintain back-of-house areas to support the sales floor and keep the counter clean, neat and tidy.
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of visual animations in-store and in windows, including seasonal campaigns and gift wrapping.
- Record and monitor sales, customer contacts and requirements.
- Assist the Counter Manager with duties and additional tasks as required.
- Follow host-store cash-handling guidelines, company dress code and grooming guidelines, and company and host-store rules and policies.
- Maintain good relationships with Diptyque colleagues.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep knowledge of the brand, products and storytelling, aligned with brand values.
- Confidence speaking for 45 minutes, encouraging questions and responding to them.
- A hospitable manner: warm, generous, engaging and professional.
- Time-management skills, with the ability to guide discussions without rushing.
- Passion for fragrance, beauty or luxury retail, with previous experience in one of these areas.
- Sales-focused, with a proven sales record.

- Self-motivated, focused and able to use initiative.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable grooming and an appearance that reflects the company and host store.
- Available to work full-time with flexible hours, including Saturdays and some Sundays.
