Diptyque Paris seeks Sales Advisor for boutique team. Luxury retail experience, fluent French/English required. Full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service and experience whilst cultivating client loyalty through personalized consultations
- Present the Diptyque universe and product range through distinctive sales rituals and storytelling techniques unique to the brand
- Develop and communicate comprehensive product knowledge—materials, conception, maintenance—to recommend solutions tailored to each client
- Contribute to boutique performance by driving revenue through targeted activities and achieving assigned sales objectives
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting to the Store Manager and head office teams
- Maintain accuracy of the client database and implement loyalty initiatives via the CRM platform
- Serve as an information liaison between the store and retail management at headquarters
- Uphold the brand image through impeccable visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Execute essential operational tasks including stock management, inventory preparation, merchandise reception, and stockroom organization
Qualifications
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity and sensitivity to art and culture to articulate brand collaborations authentically
- Strong organizational and adaptability skills to thrive in a dynamic retail environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook for clienteling activities, Excel for reporting) and ease with boutique digital tools
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities to forge strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and corporate teams
- High degree of empathy and active listening to guarantee exceptional customer service
- Impeccable personal presentation and appearance standards
