Diptyque seeks a seasonal Brand Ambassador for its Madison Avenue flagship in New York. Luxury retail sales role with $23-24/hr, part-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients throughout the store with genuine, authentic engagement
- Provide expert product knowledge and styling recommendations tailored to individual client preferences
- Execute omnichannel selling strategies utilizing digital tools and store technology to identify and recommend merchandise across all channels
- Cultivate and expand the personal client base through proactive relationship-building and out-of-home base selling
- Educate clients on merchandise, events, promotions, policies, and services; demonstrate brand expertise and styling proficiency
- Achieve personal sales and boutique key performance indicators (KPIs) while promoting the loyalty program benefits
- Maintain operational excellence through floor maintenance, stock management, visual merchandising support, and adherence to health and safety protocols
- Execute daily opening and closing procedures and implement company policies consistently
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and deliver exceptional client experiences
- Utilize mobile devices and digital platforms to maintain client relationships and follow up proactively
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the luxury retail industry, with beauty or fragrance experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of driving positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable sales results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational abilities
- Industry awareness and strong business acumen within the beauty and fragrance sector
- Passion for the beauty and fragrance industry
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the luxury retail industry, with demonstrated ability to drive customer loyalty and achieve measurable sales results. Beauty or fragrance retail experience is highly valued.
