Diptyque seeks a Retail Area Manager in Dallas, Texas, to oversee multi-unit luxury fragrance and beauty retail operations in the South Central region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead area store teams through effective performance management to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs across all assigned locations
  • Develop and monitor corporate sales goals by door, analyze business performance, and communicate clear action plans to senior management
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain top talent; build internal and external talent pipelines for succession planning
  • Conduct onboarding, ongoing coaching, and performance reviews to ensure brand alignment and continuous professional development
  • Create and maintain an inspiring, inclusive work environment that reflects the Diptyque brand values and drives team engagement
  • Implement and execute the Diptyque signature customer experience, Art of Selling methodology, and omnichannel strategy across all stores
  • Manage inventory control, stock allocation, shrinkage mitigation, and visual merchandising standards in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Plan and execute in-store marketing events and campaigns in partnership with retail marketing and store leadership teams
  • Lead new store opening initiatives, including recruitment, training, inventory coordination, and localized marketing launches
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching during store visits to ensure staff compliance with brand standards
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports with analysis and present findings to senior management
  • Monitor competitive initiatives, market trends, and implement best practices across area stores

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of luxury retail store management experience
  • Minimum 2 years of multi-unit or area management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proven track record of driving sales results and meeting performance targets
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing retail teams
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with CRM systems and retail analytics tools
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by business needs

Experience

Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, managing retail operations, recruiting and developing teams, and executing brand-aligned customer experiences in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
