Diptyque seeks a Press Assistant in Paris for a 6-month internship starting January 2027 to support communications, press materials and media relations within the Communications department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compose and adapt press dossiers, press releases, Q&A documents, biographies and strategic communications materials
- Maintain editorial coherence and alignment with brand identity and tone across all written content
- Monitor editorial trends and optimize content based on press feedback and market requirements
- Serve as central communications liaison between departments to ensure message harmonization
- Manage and prioritize market requests for press tools, specialized assets and localized adaptations
- Assist in handling press inquiries, providing information to journalists and PR agencies
- Track press coverage and produce dedicated reporting and analytics
- Coordinate logistics for press and influencer events, including invitations, follow-up and on-site management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +4/5) from a Business School, Communications Program, Journalism or Public Relations institution, or equivalent university qualification
- Prior experience in PR within the luxury sector preferred (cosmetics, beauty, skincare, fragrance or adjacent categories)
- Exceptional writing skills and strong editorial sensibility
- Proven ability to coordinate projects and manage multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in French and English (written and oral)

First experience in public relations within the luxury sector (cosmetics, beauty, skincare, fragrance or related domains) is ideal, though promising candidates with strong communications backgrounds will be considered.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac +4/5) from a Business School, Communications Program, Journalism, Public Relations institution, or equivalent university qualification.
