The Packaging Development Assistant supports the reliability and maintenance of technical packaging data for Diptyque’s Perfume & Skincare line, including specifications, environmental assessments, recyclability, logistics packaging, and PPWR preparation. This six-month internship starts in March 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Draft and update technical specifications for packaging components and finished products to ensure the reliability of technical data.
- Assess environmental impacts using the designated life cycle assessment tool and propose areas for improvement.
- Analyze packaging recyclability using the dedicated tool and recommend eco-design measures.
- Optimize logistics packaging.
- Create and update palletization sheets for existing products and new developments.
- Administer packaging reformulations by updating internal databases.
- Establish a physical and digital defect library.
- Contribute to preparations for the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), anticipating and supporting compliance.
Qualifications
- Engineering school, master's degree in packaging, chemistry, materials, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cosmetic packaging, eco-design, and regulations is appreciated.
- Good understanding of industrial processes.
- Rigor, organization, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proactivity and the ability to propose concrete solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with Development, Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Marketing teams.
