Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting process with all Operations Direction functions including Procurement, R&D, Quality, Product Development, Customer Service, Logistics, and manufacturing operations
• Develop, consolidate, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts for the Operations Direction whilst evaluating factory profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Oversee monthly industrial closings to ensure accuracy of inventory valuations, standard costs, and margin calculations
• Establish and pilot industrial performance indicators for headquarters including procurement performance, inflation tracking, and inventory levels and coverage
• Construct, maintain, and analyse standard costs in partnership with Operations teams, investigating real versus standard cost variances and revaluation impacts
• Manage subcontractor inventory and finished goods stocks, tracking financial impacts including cash implications and P&L depreciation effects
• Support Transport & Logistics strategy in coordination with operational teams
• Analyze factory performance metrics including OEE, scrap rates, productivity, material costs, production costs, energy consumption, maintenance, and industrial margin analysis
• Monitor industrial investment performance (CAPEX), validate business cases pre-investment, and measure ROI post-implementation
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and margin protection measures
• Build decision-support tools including dashboards and group-level reporting
• Act as Finance reference for product launch processes, evaluating new product margins from initial marketing assumptions through commercial launch
• Maintain financial decision-support models and participate in GO/NO-GO committees
• Define business requirements for Finance and contribute to process transformation initiatives
• Serve as Finance representative for strategic projects including PLM, EPM, EDI, and future ERP replacement (transitioning from Navision)
• Optimize industrial cost accounting processes and develop management dashboards
• Advance Finance function digitalization and propose value creation levers

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or engineering school
• More than 10 years of experience in industrial cost accounting
• Advanced proficiency with standard office tools (PowerPoint, Excel) and Business Intelligence visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of industrial workflows and supply chain operations with business acumen; subcontracting flow knowledge preferred
• Mastery of standard cost methodologies, inventory valuation, and industrial closing procedures
• Appetite for information systems (ERP, BI, PLM)
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities
• Demonstrated rigour, autonomy, and reliability
• Ability to present complex analyses clearly and synthesetically to senior management
• Natural leadership with capacity to challenge organizational structures and align diverse stakeholders (General Management, Operations, Finance, IT)
• Fluency in English (written and oral) with comfort in international environments

Over 10 years of experience in industrial cost accounting, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex manufacturing operations, supply chain cost analysis, and financial transformation projects within luxury or FMCG environments.

Education

Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or engineering school.
