Diptyque Financial Controlling Intern, Paris: 6-month position supporting consolidated reporting and financial analysis for luxury fragrance house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze revenue performance variances against budget and challenge market projections
- Conduct financial analyses on product launches and limited-edition campaigns
- Support monthly and annual closure processes in coordination with subsidiary teams
- Prepare closure reports and documentation for senior financial management
- Participate in development and monitoring of consolidated global budgets and forecasts
- Deliver monthly management reporting on P&L metrics by subsidiary and distribution channel
- Contribute to optimization and automation of reporting tools and processes
- Prepare presentations and financial analyses for executive leadership and shareholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university qualification
- Prior experience in financial controlling, ideally within luxury sectors including cosmetics, beauty, skincare, or perfumery
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent English communication (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with intellectual curiosity and intellectual rigor
- Strong collaborative and teamwork capabilities

Experience
Prior internship or entry-level experience in financial controlling or management accounting is preferred, particularly within the luxury beauty, cosmetics, or fragrance sectors. Candidates with academic projects demonstrating financial analysis capabilities are encouraged to apply.
