Diptyque seeks a Financial Reporting Controller (6-month fixed-term contract) in Paris to manage group consolidation, financial analysis, and reporting systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze group management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for actual results, forecasts, and budgets; challenge CFO submissions across markets
- Conduct comparative analysis of consolidated P&L by market, customer, and product category against budget, forecasts, and prior-year performance
- Produce consolidated financial statements and analyses for executive leadership and board review
- Administer the group reporting tool, manage ERP interfaces, maintain reporting models, train end-users, and oversee system improvement projects (ERP, BI)
- Manage the analytical chart of accounts framework and simplify, automate, and enhance financial analyses across the group
- Develop and distribute new analytical formats and dashboards to subsidiary entities
- Review and analyze pro-forma profitability for new store openings and assess market expansion returns
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and monitor finance projects across group entities, including accounting procedures, chart of account harmonization, and ROI assessments for new locations and campaigns
- Collect, validate, and reconcile data for statutory consolidation and contribute to group finance community initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in finance, management accounting, business analysis, or audit in an international environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency with enterprise systems such as Dynamics NAV and/or SQL
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Fluent English required; context is 100% international
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4–5 years in finance, management accounting, business analysis, or audit within a multinational or international business environment. Prior experience in audit is considered advantageous.
Education
Graduate degree from a business school or university-level finance, accounting, or business administration program.
