Diptyque seeks Brand Ambassador in East Hampton, New York for luxury fragrance retail role requiring 3+ years experience and passion for beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients throughout all areas of the boutique, connecting with them in a genuine and meaningful manner
- Provide expert product recommendations based on deep fragrance knowledge and client preferences, demonstrating sophisticated styling capabilities
- Cultivate and expand the personal client base through personalized engagement, out-of-home-base selling, and strategic relationship building
- Execute omni-channel selling strategies and leverage digital tools and mobile technology to connect with clients, serve their needs, and drive business growth
- Educate clients and self on merchandise, promotions, events, policies, and services, and promote benefits of the loyalty program (AYS)
- Achieve and exceed personal sales and boutique KPI goals while maintaining client satisfaction metrics
- Manage returns gracefully and offer alternatives aligned with client needs
- Assist with operational excellence including store maintenance, stock management, visual merchandising, and opening/closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and deliver exceptional client experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in luxury retail; beauty industry experience highly valued
- Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
- Deep knowledge of the beauty and fragrance industry with strong passion for the category
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with outstanding organizational abilities
- Strong business acumen and industry awareness
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in luxury retail, preferably with fragrance, beauty, or prestige skincare brands. Prior experience building and maintaining a personal client base is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional formal education in business, hospitality, or related fields is advantageous but not required.
