Diptyque seeks a Financial Reporting Controller in Paris to lead group financial consolidation, reporting systems, and strategic analyses in a 100% international environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consolidate group management statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for actual results and forecasts across R&O, landing, and budgets
- Perform P&L analysis by market, client, and product category versus budget, forecasts, and prior actuals; challenge regional CFOs on variances
- Produce executive and board-level financial statements and analyses
- Administer the group reporting tool, managing ERP interfaces, model maintenance, user training, and continuous system improvement (ERP, BI platforms)
- Manage the analytical reference framework and simplify, automate, and enrich financial analyses
- Develop and distribute new analysis formats and dashboards across subsidiaries
- Prepare regional proformas to analyse profitability of new store openings
- Drive group result tracking and lead ad-hoc financial analyses and projects
- Support statutory consolidation data collection and validation; co-lead group finance community workshops to share best practices
Qualifications
- Graduate of a business school or equivalent university-level finance programme
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in finance, management accounting, or business analysis in an international environment
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel
- Strong aptitude for IT tools (Dynamics NAV and/or SQL experience preferred)
- Analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Project management acumen and strong interest in process structuring and continuous improvement
- Fluent English (mandatory for 100% international context)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4–5 years in finance, management accounting, business analysis, or a related discipline within an international corporate environment. Audit experience is a strong asset.
Education
Graduate degree from a business school or equivalent university-level programme in finance, accounting, or related field.
