Role & Responsibilities
- Build monthly demand forecasts in consensus with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across functions
- Review historical sales trends and document demand drivers to enhance forecast accuracy and identify market patterns
- Utilize and maintain AGR forecasting software as the primary planning tool, including data entry, product hierarchy validation, and forecast error monitoring
- Monitor and analyze competitive intelligence and relevant market data to inform demand planning decisions
- Create and validate weekly purchase orders to maintain and build product supply levels across retail store network
- Allocate and forecast product launches by channel to optimize market penetration and inventory positioning
- Forecast and monitor non-saleable product volumes including testers, samples, and promotional gifts
- Track performance of new launches and promotional activities against forecasts to identify variances and opportunities
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to all business functions to support decision-making and enhance overall business performance
- Drive action plans to reduce excess and obsolete inventory, supporting financial performance and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Demand Planner or Supply Planner in a comparable role
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify root causes and propose practical solutions
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
