Diptyque seeks Commercial Operations Assistant (Stage) in Paris. Support retail network operations & performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor daily operational requirements for the boutique network, including access transmission, equipment dispatch, samplers, signage elements, and in-store services such as refilling and engraving
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures in stores, including point-of-sale operations, invoicing, tax-free transactions, and exceptional stock movements
- Coordinate staffing reinforcement with interim agencies to support boutique staffing needs
- Liaise between boutiques and Human Resources on administrative matters including payroll, absences, and scheduling oversight
- Monitor and balance inventory across boutiques to optimise stock distribution
- Analyse product and collection performance metrics including sell-through rates, slow-movers, and bestsellers
- Prepare and communicate lists of out-of-stock articles and stock returns
- Prepare agendas and minutes for operations meetings
- Create presentations for meetings and ad-hoc requirements such as campaign reviews, prospecting initiatives, and budget presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Bac +4/5)
- Strong experience or exposure to the luxury sector, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, skincare, perfumery, or fashion
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Ideally, candidates possess an initial professional experience in the luxury sector (cosmetics, beauty, skincare, perfumery, fashion, or related disciplines).
Education
