The Business Law Legal Assistant Intern supports Diptyque’s legal department on business law, contracts and intellectual property, including contract work, legal research, regulatory monitoring and rights protection. This six-month internship begins in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the negotiation, analysis, drafting and review of contracts of various types, including service agreements, confidentiality agreements, artistic partnerships, copyright assignments and sponsorship agreements.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda for operational teams.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to Diptyque’s activities.
- Contribute to standardizing and continuously improving legal documentation.
- Coordinate intellectual property rights protection and enforcement with specialist service providers, professional organizations and external counsel.
- Support the legal team on cross-functional matters according to the Maison’s needs and current priorities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5 / Master 2) in Business Law or Contract Law, or be a trainee lawyer.
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- Rigor, strong organizational skills and ability to synthesize information.
- Intellectual curiosity and proactivity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with varied stakeholders.
- Interest in operational environments and cross-functional projects.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is essential.
