Diptyque Beverly Hills seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead retail operations, client experience, and team development in a luxury beauty environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional client service and luxury experiences aligned with Diptyque's brand values
  • Support CRM initiatives and help achieve client engagement and sales performance targets
  • Analyze store performance metrics and partner with Store Manager to identify opportunities and drive business results
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly business reviews and reporting
  • Motivate, coach, and develop team members in the Store Manager's absence
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of retail staff
  • Facilitate daily team briefings and communicate store goals and objectives clearly
  • Foster a culture of feedback, recognition, and continuous learning among team members
  • Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and policy adherence
  • Support inventory management, product allocation, and stock optimization
  • Execute visual merchandising strategies and provide feedback based on sell-through performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and brand-aligned store environment
  • Embody Diptyque's values in personal grooming, storytelling, and client interactions
  • Ensure team presentation reflects the brand's luxury positioning and premium service standards
  • Communicate brand updates, product launches, and market insights to the team
  • Attend meetings and calls in the Store Manager's absence
  • Protect confidential company and client information
  • Support safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Partner with leadership to address team concerns and maintain a safe, inclusive workplace

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury or beauty sectors
  • Strong understanding of retail key performance indicators and business acumen
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams while delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Passion for fragrance, beauty, and luxury retail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Experience
