Diptyque, the luxury perfume and home fragrance house founded in Saint-Germain in 1961, seeks an Architecture Project Manager to lead the architectural deployment of boutique concepts internationally. Reporting to the Regional Architecture Director, this role spans boutique openings, concept development, 3D modelling, project execution, and logistics oversight across multiple retail formats including flagship stores, corners, travel retail, and pop-ups.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deploy architectural concepts across multiple scales (boutiques, corners, travel retail, pop-up stores) while respecting brand graphic codes and identity guidelines
- Generate creative proposals for materials, fabrics, wall coverings, and furniture to enhance the customer experience and reflect each store's unique universe
- Develop new furniture typologies in response to product line evolution and market requirements
- Develop and pilot 3D models using Rhino or SketchUp
- Lead APS/APD project phases and coordinate technical design execution
- Oversee project execution through construction administration, tender processes, manufacturing supervision, and delivery logistics
- Monitor project schedules and budgets across assigned markets
- Manage logistics coordination for regional distribution of decorative and structural elements
Qualifications
- Degree in architecture or interior architecture
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in interior architecture
- Proficiency with DAO software: AutoCAD, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office suite, and 3D modelling (Rhino or SketchUp)
- Strong knowledge of materials, spatial planning, and construction implementation
- Demonstrated ability to express ideas through hand sketches and mood boards
- Fluent English with technical architecture vocabulary
- Adaptability to multicultural contexts and international project environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in interior architecture, with demonstrated expertise in retail or hospitality design environments. Experience managing multi-market architectural projects and coordinating with international teams is advantageous.
Education
Degree in architecture or interior architecture from an accredited institution.
