Diptyque is recruiting an Architecture Project Assistant to support European and export store design projects from creative concept through delivery, covering architectural concepts, customer experience, furniture development, design phases and project execution. This is a renewable one-year apprenticeship starting in September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deploy architectural concepts across boutiques and shop-in-shop corners, ensuring compliance with the design charter and graphic codes.
  • Contribute to refreshing the customer experience through materials, fabrics, wall coverings and furniture, recognising each Diptyque boutique’s individual identity.
  • Contribute to developing new furniture typologies in response to business needs and changes in product ranges.
  • Support the team in managing preliminary and detailed design phases (APS/APD), including sketches and 2D drawing sets.
  • Manage or oversee 3D development using Rhino or SketchUp.
  • Monitor project execution, including assistance with project management, tenders, production follow-up and delivery.
  • Manage schedules and budgets across markets.

Qualifications

  • Degree or training in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
  • Strong affinity for decoration and design.
  • Creative, luxury and artistic sensibility.
  • Organised, responsive, autonomous and adaptable.
  • Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to multicultural contexts.
  • Proficiency in CAD software: AutoCAD, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, the Office suite and a 3D software package (Rhino or SketchUp).
  • Excellent written and spoken English, including command of technical architectural vocabulary.
  • Comfort working in an international environment.
