Diesel is hiring a Team Leader in Antwerp to lead the store floor, drive sales and clienteling while coaching a high-performing retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the floor team to deliver personalised, high-touch client experiences that convert and build loyalty.
- Own commercial performance for the department: achieve sales targets, optimise stock rotation, supervise replenishment and manage product merchandising.
- Use numerical sales and inventory analysis to drive category-specific action plans and improve sell-through.
- Develop and maintain client books through proactive clienteling and CRM initiatives to increase traffic and repeat business.
- Drive the in-store digital experience and leverage digital channels when face-to-face engagement is not possible.
- Support the Store Manager in executing the store strategy and marketing initiatives to maximise incremental sales.
- Ensure floor-level excellence across display, cleanliness, grooming and client service standards; take prompt corrective action where needed.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that encourages growth, accountability and a customer-first mindset.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fashion or luxury retail, with responsibility for a sales team or department.
- Demonstrable experience training, empowering and motivating retail staff to achieve targets.
- Strong commercial orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across in-person and digital channels (email, SMS, etc.).
- High attention to detail and standards in visual merchandising and customer service delivery.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Skills
Experience
Proven retail experience within fashion or luxury contexts, including a history of supervising or leading a sales team, driving commercial results and executing clienteling/CRM strategies.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent) required; tertiary qualification in retail management, business or a related discipline preferred.
