Diesel in Wustermark (Berlin) seeks a Store Manager to lead the outlet store, drive sales and manage the retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operation and performance of the Wustermark outlet store, acting as the principal Diesel representative on site.
- Drive sales growth through KPI monitoring, analysis and the development of targeted commercial strategies.
- Lead, motivate and develop store employees; manage recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training.
- Plan and optimise staff rotas and annual leave to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
- Deliver exemplary customer service and act as a role model in client interactions.
- Coordinate closely with the Retail Manager and head office to align store activity with wider brand initiatives.
- Plan and execute in-store events and ensure consistent brand presentation and merchandising.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience in a leadership role within retail.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong numeracy with the ability to interpret sales KPIs and derive actionable plans.
- Proven sales orientation and a demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
- Solution-focused mindset, decisive problem-solving ability and assertive communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory or managerial position within retail, with demonstrable success in driving sales, developing teams and managing store operations.
Education
Vocational training or equivalent in retail, sales or business administration preferred; higher education in a related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
Workplace
This position is based in Wustermark, Brandenburg, Germany, within easy reach of Berlin.
