Diesel is hiring a Store Manager for its La Roca Village store on a permanent, full-time basis. The role leads sales, clienteling, team development, inventory, store operations, safety, and visual merchandising; compensation is competitive and performance-dependent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regular action plans with the Retail Manager to grow sales across product categories and local and tourist clientele.
- Monitor the local trading environment and its impact on sales, and act as a brand ambassador to strengthen relationships with VIP clients.
- Maintain adequate client and prospect databases.
- Support and manage omnichannel activities, including in-store pickup, in line with corporate standards and guidelines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, regularly review merchandise assortment, and optimize stock levels and mix to reflect sales, buying trends, and customer demand.
- Execute company-defined procedures and processes.
- Comply with stock-protection requirements and loss-reduction standards.
- Achieve financial objectives by proposing action plans and adapting quickly and efficiently to changing situations.
- Recruit passionate team members and coach their growth and development to deliver excellent, specialized customer service.
- Build meaningful, loyal client relationships through personal connections and CRM initiatives, while ensuring compliance with OTB standards for selling ceremony, visual guidelines, grooming, and procedures.
- Maintain momentum toward the long-term strategy despite short-term pressures, and develop strategic plans to achieve long-term store and organizational goals.
- Analyze CRM data and use it to propose and implement in-store activities to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.
- Network with department stores, shopping areas, and neighborhood stores to exchange information.
- Establish and maintain a safety management system for the store premises, stock, and equipment.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, including earthquakes, fires, typhoons, and theft.
- Plan and implement daily and monthly sales objectives.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
- Streamline workflows and create staff schedules.
- Ensure the store is properly cleaned and maintained, including windows, furniture, and lighting.
- Analyze and report on sales, competitors, regional and market trends, and other variables.
- Set up and maintain effective visual merchandising in accordance with VMD guidelines.
