Diesel (OTB) is hiring a Stock Supervisor in Woodbury, NY. Lead stockroom operations, inventory control and a small team for a flagship retail location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily stockroom operations, including receiving, unpacking, tagging and quality checks of incoming merchandise.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, full stocktakes and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Coordinate timely replenishment of the sales floor to maximise availability and visual merchandising standards.
- Lead, train and schedule stock associates; assign tasks and ensure adherence to health & safety and loss-prevention procedures.
- Operate and maintain inventory control systems and RF scanning devices; prepare inventory and shipment reports for store management.
- Manage back-of-house organisation to optimise storage space, accessibility and merchandise protection.
- Liaise with store management, logistics partners and regional teams to resolve receiving or stock discrepancies and support promotions or seasonal transitions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail stock control or inventory management, with prior supervisory responsibility.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail; demonstrable accuracy in stock reconciliation and reporting.
- Familiarity with RF handheld scanners, POS and inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to motivate a small operations team.
- Physically able to perform lifting and prolonged periods on foot; flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and peak seasons.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail inventory or stockroom operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in logistics, supply-chain or retail operations preferred.
