Diesel seeks a Part‑Time Sales Associate at Yorkdale (Toronto) to drive sales, represent the brand, and deliver outstanding client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance while representing Diesel’s brand values and aesthetic.
- Deliver exemplary customer service and cultivate long‑term client relationships through proactive clienteling and personalised styling.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product assortments, brand history, policies and service standards to inform selling and client advice.
- Implement and uphold visual merchandising and merchandising guidelines to ensure the store reflects Diesel’s presentation standards.
- Execute Omni‑channel service initiatives, supporting online/offline integration and seamless customer experiences.
- Support day‑to‑day store operations and assist the Store Manager in driving traffic, conversion and brand awareness in the market.
Qualifications
- Passionate brand ambassador with a demonstrable interest in premium denim and contemporary fashion culture.
- Customer‑centric mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly and retain clients.
- Adaptable and comfortable with retail innovation and change, including omnichannel sales processes.
- Team player who contributes positively to store energy and supports colleagues to achieve collective goals.
- Previous retail experience preferred, ideally within premium or designer fashion environments.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail sales experience is preferred; experience within premium denim or fashion brands and familiarity with omnichannel retail is advantageous. Demonstrable track record of meeting individual sales targets and delivering high‑quality client experiences is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail, fashion or merchandising is desirable.
