Diesel seeks a Product Developer Washing in Breganze, Italy to develop and design denim treatment processes for its R&D department. Competitive salary €35,000–€40,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and design washing treatments for denim collection products according to creative briefs, style guidelines, and cost targets
- Coordinate prototype development continuously with Product and Style teams
- Design and develop samples at production facilities while ensuring timeline compliance
- Manage daily operational relationships with laundries, including technical briefs and prototype follow-up
- Conduct periodic visits to production sources for prototype and sample development
- Maintain technical documentation of all wash-related information within company systems and tools
- Coordinate constantly with Production and Quality Control teams throughout all process phases
- Support industrialization activities to ensure replicability of approved washes at production scale
- Contribute to product costing for wash processes in coordination with R&D stakeholders
- Conduct ongoing research and innovation across all aspects of denim treatment technologies
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of prior experience in similar roles at denim brands, industrial laundries, or wet processing suppliers
- Direct experience managing suppliers and laundries, including international facilities
- Strong stakeholder relationship and negotiation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with Style departments and strong interpretation of creative requirements
- Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving orientation
- Passion for innovation and adaptability to change
- Availability for travel to laundries, including international visits
- Excellence in English language proficiency; French language knowledge is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and PLM or similar enterprise resource management systems
- Strong passion for the denim sector, high motivation, and attention to detail

3–5 years of professional experience in denim product development, industrial laundries, or wet processing environments, with demonstrated expertise in garment treatment design and supplier management across international operations.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 35,000 to EUR 40,000 per annum.
