Diesel (OTB) seeks a Junior Graphic & Prints Designer in Breganze, Italy — create print artwork and patterns for denim and apparel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design original graphics, repeat patterns and print artwork for denim, ready-to-wear and accessory collections in line with Diesel’s aesthetic and seasonal direction.
- Translate creative concepts into production-ready files: color separations, repeats, placements and technical specifications for screen, digital and sublimation printing.
- Prepare and maintain artwork libraries, moodboards and colorways; produce clear tech packs and support the production sampling process.
- Collaborate closely with senior designers, textile suppliers, print vendors and the development team to ensure fidelity between design intent and final garments.
- Conduct trend research and visual investigations to inform print direction; adapt concepts across multiple materials and product categories.
- Participate in fittings and sampling reviews to refine scale, placement and color; ensure compliance with brand guidelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design or related discipline.
- A demonstrable portfolio of apparel print and surface pattern work, showing repeat patterns, placements and finished garment applications.
- Practical understanding of textile printing processes (screen, digital, sublimation) and color management for fashion production.
- Strong visual sensibility and an ability to interpret trend direction while respecting Diesel’s brand DNA.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple print developments across product categories.
Skills
Experience
Junior-level candidate with approximately 1–3 years of industry experience designing prints/graphics for apparel, denim or accessories. Experience working with suppliers and print vendors preferred.
Education
Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent professional experience.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Breganze, Veneto, Italy, with easy access to Venice.
