Diesel is seeking a Junior Buyer for its European Buying Team in Milan to manage operational processes for an assigned collection in line with company guidelines and store clusters. The role is a full-time, permanent contract under the CCNL Tessile, Level 5–6; gross annual salary is €27,000–€30,000, with a €1,500 company bonus, and the final offer depends on experience, skills and responsibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work with the buying management team on seasonal buying assortments and order entry, taking customer trends and market needs into account.
- Manage weekly trade actions to support in-season sales results.
- Create reports on product performance and analyze the results.
- Work closely with the Allocation team to manage in-season collection transfers and re-assortment.
- Build relationships with store managers to support store needs and requests.
- Work with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure visual guidelines represent the EU seasonal buy and promote key investment pieces.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of retail buying or retail merchandising experience in fashion companies with modern structures.
- A degree in Economics is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Mastery of core Office tools, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Strong business acumen, passion for fashion, good aesthetic sensibility, and personal interest in new trends.
- Precision, attention to detail, goal orientation, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
