Diesel is seeking a Global Social Media Specialist for its Global Marketing Team in Milan, reporting to the Global Social Media Manager. The role covers global channel publishing, content and creator production, campaign coordination, performance analysis, and trend research; applicants need 1–2 years of similar experience and a degree in Economics focused on Marketing and Communications. The position is covered by the Textile Industry CCNL, Level 4, with a gross annual salary of €28,000–€33,000 and a 5% variable incentive plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and publish content daily across Diesel’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Maintain the social media editorial calendar, coordinating deadlines, assets, and publishing needs with relevant teams.
- Support content approvals for APAC social media platforms by liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Help organize the production of content created specifically for social media, with particular attention to short-form video.
- Coordinate practical arrangements for social media productions involving creators, including garment and sample requests, in-store orders, and sample movements.
- Follow up daily on content, product, and production activities to help ensure assets are delivered on time.
- Work with the creative, production, PR, Media, and Go-to-Market teams on social media activities related to global campaigns and product launches.
- Review social media copy with the dedicated copywriter, helping ensure consistency with Diesel’s tone of voice.
- Manage social media reporting and performance analysis, monitor key KPIs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize the global social media strategy.
- Research emerging creators, talents, formats, and cultural trends that could inspire relevant brand content.
Qualifications
- A degree in Economics with a focus on Marketing and Communications is required.
- Professional certifications or coursework in Social Media or Digital Marketing are appreciated.
- Strong passion for the digital world and fashion, with an ongoing commitment to staying current with industry trends and the evolution of social media.
- Ability to develop content strategies and conduct market analyses.
- Goal-oriented mindset, flexibility, enthusiasm, initiative, ability to propose ideas, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-player attitude.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in key tools for monitoring and measuring a brand’s web presence.
