Diesel seeks a Global Digital Merchandising Specialist in Milano to drive e-commerce strategy and optimize digital product presentation at diesel.com.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital merchandising strategies for diesel.com at the global level, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product strategy, and customer expectations
- Coordinate visual merchandising activities across markets by providing global guidelines aligned with seasonal trends, collection performance, delivery timelines, and inventory availability
- Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams in defining the Global Product Editorial Calendar, ensuring alignment with online channel needs and strategy
- Collaborate actively with the Content Production team on e-commerce product shooting activities, providing competitor benchmarks and guidelines to support commercial objectives and enhance product presentation
- Monitor sales performance and key digital metrics, responding with data-driven actions to optimize product placement and boost conversion rates
- Prepare regular presentations and provide valuable reports and insights to decision-makers
- Continuously optimize customer experience by implementing best practices in digital merchandising to drive conversion, improve product searchability, and enhance visual presentation
- Stay current with the latest digital merchandising trends, monitor competitors and emerging market trends, and provide benchmarks to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a fashion and luxury company
- Master's degree in economics, marketing, or another relevant field
- Strong analytical skills with PowerBI knowledge considered advantageous
- Proficient knowledge of the Office package, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good visual sensibility with a discerning eye for content, images, and product photography
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and attention to detail
- Passion for digital content and products

At least 5 years of experience in a similar digital merchandising or e-commerce role, preferably within a fashion and luxury company. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing merchandising strategies across global online channels, with a track record of optimizing product placement and driving conversion through data-driven decision-making.
Education
Master's degree in economics, marketing, or another relevant field.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 35,000 to EUR 40,000 per annum.
