Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse financial records, management reports and financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and IFRS where applicable.
  • Assist in the preparation, monitoring and analysis of annual budgets, periodic forecasts and long-term financial plans aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses and forecasts to support business planning, investment appraisal and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor sales, margins, operating expenses and profitability across retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels; deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support preparation of corporate reporting packages and monthly financial presentations for senior leadership and global headquarters.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure compliance with Mexican tax regulations administered by the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT).
  • Support internal control procedures, compliance initiatives and coordination with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Perform variance analysis versus budgets and forecasts and produce recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Evaluate financial feasibility and ROI for new store openings, relocations and capital investments.
  • Support working capital management including cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis.
  • Track key operational KPIs — cost of sales, exchange rate impacts, returns, discounts and inventory performance — and report trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally with retail operations, logistics and corporate teams to translate financial analysis into operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, accounting or financial reporting; experience in retail or luxury retail for Mexico preferred.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Familiarity with Mexican tax compliance frameworks and reporting obligations administered by SAT.
  • Proven experience supporting internal and external audit processes.
  • Demonstrated strength in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience analysing performance across multi-channel retail environments including store, wholesale and e-commerce.
  • Experience evaluating capital investments and store opening feasibility with ROI analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
