Diesel is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Zweibrücken, Germany — lead store operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in executing store strategy to maximise sales performance and deliver a cohesive 360° client experience.
- Contribute to development and implementation of business action plans across product categories and client segments to drive KPIs and sales targets.
- Deliver exemplary customer service and cultivate long-term client relationships through CRM initiatives and personalised engagement.
- Role-model best-in-class selling, self-leadership and problem-solving; coach and motivate the sales team to sustain high standards.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including staffing, visual standards, stock management and loss prevention.
- Foster an inclusive, energetic team culture by empowering colleagues, promoting cross-sector inspiration and supporting continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' management experience in a modern luxury or premium retail environment.
- Proven ability to manage and coach a retail team with demonstrable leadership outcomes.
- Track record of driving KPIs and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Strong commercial mindset with acute product sensitivity relevant to the luxury/premium casualwear sector.
- Experience handling complex store operations and multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Digitally aware with openness to omnichannel tools and modern ways of working.
- Ability to interact effectively with international clientele.
- Genuine passion for the Diesel brand, its products and heritage.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years' prior experience in a managerial role within luxury or premium retail, with proven results in team leadership and achieving sales KPIs.
Education
Secondary education completed (e.g., Abitur or equivalent). A degree in business, retail management or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
