Diesel seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead store performance across sales, client development, team leadership, visual presentation, operations, and compliance. The role supports recruiting and team development, oversees daily retail operations, and partners with headquarters and regional teams; employment type and contract terms are not stated.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the team in achieving individual and store sales targets.
• Deliver a personalized luxury experience to high-net-worth clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships through CRM strategies and personalized follow-ups.
• Ensure the team demonstrates strong product knowledge and delivers exceptional client service.
• Communicate and track store sales and KPIs, providing context for business results.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Coach team members and provide ongoing performance feedback to foster motivation and engagement.

• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and stock replenishment.

• Assist the Store Manager with marketing and promotional strategies.
• Develop and implement initiatives to increase store traffic and client loyalty.
• Lead store performance across commercial results, client development, team leadership, visual and operational standards, and policy compliance.
• Serve as the primary link between the store and headquarters or regional partners in merchandising, HR, operations, and marketing.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in retail management or a related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience in retail, luxury retail, or a service-oriented organization preferred.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts as needed.
• An existing client book preferred.
• Financial management experience.
• Ethical conduct and the ability to lead by example.
• A learning orientation and the ability to train and teach.
• Performance management capability.
• Leadership skills and comfort with difficult conversations.
• Strong market awareness and networking skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide proof of employment eligibility upon request.
