Diesel Italia seeks an Area Visual Merchandiser in Milan to oversee visual merchandising and store styling across Italian locations. Full-time permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of window displays, styling, and visual concepts in line with global guidelines and brand expectations
- Plan and oversee monthly installation and refresh of windows, mannequin looks, in-store visual merchandising, and product launches
- Monitor assigned store network through regular field visits and remote support
- Apply headquarters and local visual merchandising directives with flexibility to respond to store-specific needs
- Partner with Retail Managers and store teams to maximize commercial performance and support sales growth
- Support seasonal showroom setup and press day activations
- Drive training of store teams on visual merchandising standards and provide continuous feedback to the visual merchandising manager and headquarters
- Play an active role in store openings and refurbishment projects
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in an Area Visual Merchandising role within a structured retail company
- Excellent creative and design skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Passion for the brand with demonstrated ability to serve as a brand ambassador
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Positive attitude with openness to feedback and willingness to grow within a dynamic environment
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of progressive experience in an Area Visual Merchandising or equivalent regional visual design role within a large, structured retail organization, preferably in the fashion or premium casual wear sector.
Education
Secondary education (diploma); vocational or professional qualification in visual merchandising, fashion design, or related discipline is advantageous.

This position is based in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 33,000 to EUR 40,000 per annum.
