Role & Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations and ensure compliance with Company policies and Store Management guidelines
• Manage staffing coordination, including shift planning, rotas scheduling, and addressing personnel issues to maintain optimal store performance
• Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly with professionalism, escalating complex matters when necessary
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, linking features to their specific needs to drive sales conversions
• Provide advanced product and service information, responding comprehensively to complex customer inquiries
• Lead day-to-day operations for an assigned store department, ensuring efficient workflow and task prioritization
• Process custom and special orders, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Design and manage monthly schedules, allocating tasks strategically to ensure priority work completion
• Identify and recommend tailored products and services that address customer needs, encouraging purchase decisions
• Conduct customer interviews to clarify requirements and support potential customer assessment processes
• Develop and nurture new customer relationships through proactive outreach and serve as primary contact for queries and escalations
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance capabilities and remain informed of industry best practices
• Manage personal workflow effectively to meet established productivity, quality, and timeliness standards
• Utilize performance management systems to drive continuous personal performance improvement

Qualifications

• Post-secondary non-tertiary education
• Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures and systems
• Basic experience in coordinating the work of others
