Delvaux, the world's oldest fine leather goods house founded in 1829, seeks a part-time Sales Associate to support store operations in Hong Kong. The role involves assisting the Store Manager with daily operational tasks, staffing coordination, shift planning, and customer service excellence. The incumbent will demonstrate product features, lead demonstration sessions, manage customer orders, and resolve inquiries while identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and store management guidelines
- Manage staffing issues, plan shifts and rotas, and address customer complaints to enhance satisfaction
- Demonstrate key product features and lead demonstration specialists to maximize customer value
- Guide teams in delivering consistent product information and maintain established messaging and positioning
- Oversee front-end, back-end, and sales floor operations to achieve sales performance targets
- Lead teams in recording and processing customer orders and aggregate feedback to develop response strategies
- Develop work schedules, manage overtime, and allocate resources as needed
- Identify and communicate additional product and service opportunities during customer interactions
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues or escalating appropriately
- Recommend products or services based on customer needs and facilitate purchases
- Participate in assessment, development planning, training, and coaching activities to enhance capabilities
- Monitor personal and team performance, allocate work, and take corrective action to ensure quality
