Delvaux seeks Quality Assurance Specialist for maternity cover role in Brussels; coordinate production quality, lead QC team, ensure luxury standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate quality inspections of semi-finished and finished products
- Conduct or coordinate picking and transformation quality checks
- Serve as Quality Reference point and support the Quality Control team in daily activities
- Create, update and distribute quality reports for external partners and internal stakeholders
- Establish, monitor and communicate Quality KPIs and BPC reporting
- Manage quality returns and non-conforming products; identify recurring issues and coordinate corrective actions
- Coordinate quality activities with various external partners
- Maintain and enhance quality assurance procedures in compliance with Delvaux standards
- Collaborate with Production and suppliers to resolve quality issues and secure corrective action plans
- Conduct quality audits at the Brussels site and with external partners
- Monitor quality performance, identify deviations, alert on risks and recommend process improvements
- Prepare and deliver Quality Control training; promote a culture of quality and excellence
- Manage quality data administration in ERP systems and company reporting tools
- Maintain proactive communication and sustainable working relationships with internal and external partners
- Coordinate priorities, organize team activities as needed, and ensure operational continuity during the replacement period
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar quality function, ideally in luxury leather goods or comparable industrial environment
- First experience in team management or coordination; ability to unite collaborators around shared objectives
- Mastery of quality control principles, non-conformity management, corrective actions, audits and quality reporting
- Proficiency with standard office tools including Outlook, Word and Excel; comfort with KPI tracking and administrative tasks (SAP knowledge is an asset)
- Effective communication skills with a solution-oriented approach
- Fluent French language proficiency
- Strong sense of quality, excellence, precision and rigor
- Capability to analyze complex technical, organizational or operational situations and make clear decisions
- Well-organized and structured mindset; ability to prioritize field activities, team needs and unforeseen events
- Collaborative approach and effective cooperation with Production, workshops and external partners

Experience
Minimum 3 years in a quality assurance or quality control function, ideally within luxury leather goods manufacturing or a comparable industrial setting. Prior experience in team management or coordination is essential.
Education
No specific educational qualification is mandated; however, a background in quality management, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline is advantageous.
