Production Coordination Manager at Delvaux, Brussels. Support cutting and preparation workflows, manage supplies and quality assurance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and dynamically allocate cutting and preparation activities, managing production priorities and operational contingencies
- Provide daily operational support to production teams, ensuring consistent material availability and quality standards
- Manage and optimize inventories of raw materials and supplies, proactively identifying shortages and anomalies
- Monitor the arrival and availability of component parts, particularly metalwork elements, and alert stakeholders to supply chain constraints affecting production schedules
- Execute quantitative and qualitative quality control inspections on incoming deliveries to verify component conformity
- Track the feasibility and application of markings (logo, Made-In designations) in coordination with planning and outsourcing teams
- Identify and resolve component, technical drawing, and documentation issues in close collaboration with the development department
- Organize and monitor logistics for outbound shipment and receipt of externally-manufactured subassemblies
- Leverage the ERP system and dedicated information management tools to track, manage, and finalize all workshop orders
- Integrate Workshop Manager priorities and strategic objectives to ensure agile, aligned execution
Qualifications
- Significant experience in production coordination, planning, or equivalent roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment or leather goods sector
- Proficiency with planning tools and ERP systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and priority management capability
- Strong attention to detail with unwavering focus on quality standards
- Proven ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and take initiative
- Effective interpersonal and team collaboration skills for engaging with internal departments and external partners
