Delvaux Brussels seeks Merchandising Intern for 6-month unpaid internship supporting global luxury leather goods collection planning and strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Articulate collection feedback, market demands, and trend information into new collection briefs for seasonal launches
- Create support tools and frameworks for regional buying sessions across Delvaux's international markets
- Participate in the creation of seasonal launch plans and validate exclusivities in collaboration with regional merchandisers
- Assist in seasonal forecasting, including mapping of collection structure and consolidation of regional inputs
- Support allocation of exclusive collections in function of key commercial events
- Monitor and follow-up on sales performance of special capsule collections
- Prepare ad hoc performance reports for specific launches to inform strategic merchandising decisions
- Coordinate ad hoc stock requests for special clients and internal departments, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking with HQ teams
Qualifications
- Academic background in fashion, merchandising, business, or related discipline
- Demonstrated passion for luxury fashion and trends through academic projects or relevant extracurricular involvement
- Excellent written and spoken English and French
- Strong appeal to fashion and trends
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Valid internship agreement from educational institution (requirement for unpaid internship)
