Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble leather components into finished handbags and small leather goods following technical patterns and work orders.
- Execute precise hand and machine stitching, skiving/paring, edge finishing and gluing to Delvaux quality standards.
- Fit and secure hardware (buckles, studs, zippers, clasps) and perform final adjustments to ensure functionality and aesthetic integrity.
- Conduct systematic quality control at each assembly stage, identifying and rectifying defects before finishing.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, finishers and production planners to meet scheduled targets and maintain consistent product specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate atelier tools and small machinery; uphold clean, safe and organized workstations.
Qualifications
- Vocational qualification in leatherwork, saddlery, or related artisanal craft, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Superior manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination and acute attention to detail.
