Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble leather components into finished handbags and small leather goods following technical patterns and work orders.
  • Execute precise hand and machine stitching, skiving/paring, edge finishing and gluing to Delvaux quality standards.
  • Fit and secure hardware (buckles, studs, zippers, clasps) and perform final adjustments to ensure functionality and aesthetic integrity.
  • Conduct systematic quality control at each assembly stage, identifying and rectifying defects before finishing.
  • Collaborate with pattern makers, finishers and production planners to meet scheduled targets and maintain consistent product specifications.
  • Maintain and calibrate atelier tools and small machinery; uphold clean, safe and organized workstations.

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification in leatherwork, saddlery, or related artisanal craft, or equivalent hands-on experience.
