Delvaux is hiring an HR Manager, Retail International in Brussels — lead HR strategy for the maison's international retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute end-to-end HR strategy for retail markets outside the domestic territory, aligned with global people priorities and commercial objectives.
- Serve as strategic HR business partner to regional retail leadership and country managers, advising on workforce planning, store leadership, and organizational design.
- Lead talent acquisition and onboarding for retail roles in international markets, including store managers, area managers and retail specialists.
- Design and implement performance management, succession planning and development programmes tailored to retail operations and boutique leadership.
- Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes and local labour‑law compliance across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with local HR representatives or external counsel.
- Partner with Learning & Development to build role‑specific training curricula for sales excellence, product knowledge and leadership development in retail.
- Manage compensation and benefits alignment for retail populations by benchmarking, harmonising practices and advising on incentive schemes tied to commercial KPIs.
- Drive HR projects central to retail growth such as store openings, market entries, restructurings and large‑scale organisational change, tracking HR KPIs and reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate with global HR services (HRIS, mobility, payroll) to ensure seamless HR operations for expatriates, transfers and cross-border hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree or recognised HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
- Proven track record of HR generalist leadership with specific experience in retail (boutique or luxury retail) and cross‑border operations.
- Experience advising senior commercial leaders and managing complex employee relations across multiple legal jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver talent programmes and performance frameworks for frontline and management populations.
- Strong project management capability with experience in store openings, restructurings or market launches.

Typically 5+ years in human resources with at least 3 years focused on retail or multi‑market HR; demonstrable experience as an HR business partner or HR manager supporting commercial/retail functions and international teams.
Education
