Delvaux is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead and develop the sales team, meet sales goals, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role includes managing VIP and promotional programs, reporting to senior management, monitoring inventory, and creating retail activations for in-store and external settings. Full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the sales team to meet sales targets.
- Train and coach the team to ensure service standards are consistently met.
- Oversee the VIP Program and promotional programs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and identify initiatives to improve service standards.
- Prepare sales reports and activity updates for senior management.
- Monitor stock and inventory to maintain levels appropriate for operational needs.
- Develop and implement creative, strategic retail activation initiatives for in-store and external settings to maximize sales, customer engagement, and brand presence.
- Oversee the store’s daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in supervisory positions in a luxury retail environment.
- Mature, self-motivated, and analytically minded.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Relatively in-depth understanding of the luxury market in Malaysia.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
- Ability to multitask and adapt readily to change.
- Fluent written and spoken English; proficient spoken Chinese.
