DECIEM Keyholder, part-time, Nolita NY—luxury fragrance retail sales at $22-$23/hr. Fixed-term contract through December.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet all customers who enter the store with enthusiasm and professionalism, reflecting the brand's vision through excellent service
- Act as floor supervisor in management's absence to ensure store procedures and experience steps are followed correctly
- Introduce AVESTAN's story and unique experience to inspire customers and elevate their shopping journey
- Maintain a professional image and attitude while ensuring all company policies and procedures are being met by employees
- Assist in maintaining store standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising throughout the sales floor
- Track and report on sales performance; ensure daily and weekly reports are properly completed and submitted on time
- Ensure databases and customer profiles are up-to-date with accurate and relevant data in compliance with GDPR regulations
- Stay current with product knowledge, company information, launches, and campaigns; assist in onboarding and training new employees
- Manage store opening and closing procedures, bank deposits, and associated paperwork; conduct product refunds and resolve customer issues professionally
- Receive and verify merchandise shipments; communicate inventory concerns to store management and participate in inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the luxury industry, ideally within fragrance, beauty, fashion, or luxury goods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor employees
- Excellent time management and ability to customize client journeys with confidence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience
Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in the luxury retail or beauty sector is highly desirable. Prior experience in point-of-sale operations, team supervision, and customer-facing roles within prestige brands is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate degree preferred.
