DECIEM Makeup Artist – On-call seasonal retail position in Melbourne. Join prestige beauty leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized makeup consultations and applications to customers
- Create welcoming and engaging in-store experiences that educate customers on prestige beauty products and techniques
- Participate in in-store promotional events and brand activations to drive customer engagement and sales
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards throughout the store to ensure competitive market positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing retail team to achieve store objectives
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated high level of creative and technical expertise in makeup application
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in Australia
Skills
Experience
Makeup artistry certification and/or previous retail makeup experience is desirable; however, candidates with amateur-level experience who demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply. Retail customer service experience is advantageous.
Education
Certification or formal training in makeup artistry is preferred but not required.
