Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team by example, modeling the behaviors and customer service standards required to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to develop their retail skills and inspire authentic, personalized customer service delivery
- Execute cash reconciliation procedures at the start and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company protocols
- Rotate responsibility for opening and closing the store, performing all associated operational and security procedures
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations and administration of the retail location
- Maintain retail operations standards including merchandise displays, store cleanliness, and inventory management
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Retail point-of-sale (POS) software experience
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience, preferably in cosmetics. Desirable: retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures; previous supervisory or coaching experience with responsibility for achieving sales and customer service targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
