As a Beauty Advisor for DECIEM, a prestige beauty brand within the Estée Lauder Companies, the successful candidate will deliver welcoming, personalized consultations and makeup artistry services to customers while meeting sales and service targets. The role demands expertise in color matching, skincare analysis, and makeup application techniques, complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills to create memorable in-store experiences. The Beauty Advisor will contribute to visual merchandising excellence and collaborate with the retail team to uphold the brand's elevated standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized beauty consultations, makeup application, and skincare recommendations to customers
• Achieve customer service and sales targets while maintaining brand standards
• Educate and inspire customers about product benefits, ingredients, and application techniques
• Create visually appealing makeup looks tailored to individual skin tones and preferences
• Maintain compliance with retail point-of-sale systems and inventory management
• Collaborate with store team members to ensure cohesive visual merchandising and store presentation
• Work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events

Qualifications

• Certification or professional experience in makeup artistry is preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrable creative and technical expertise is acceptable
• Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
• Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico

Skills

Experience

Previous retail experience in beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail environments is preferred. Demonstrated experience with makeup application, skincare consultation, or beauty counter service is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Formal makeup artistry certification or coursework in cosmetology or beauty is preferred but not mandatory for candidates demonstrating strong foundational skills.
