The Beauty Advisor delivers personalized beauty consultations and customer service, maintains visual merchandising standards, supports promotional events and product demonstrations, and collaborates with store teams to ensure smooth retail-floor operations. This freelance, on-call role is staffed at Estée Lauder Companies retail locations, with Randstad as the employer of record; flexible retail hours include days, nights, weekends, and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers.
- Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor.
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement.
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers effectively.
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and an optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire or interview.
- Previous retail or beauty industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with a retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, converse with customers, and handle product packaging and display materials.
- Ability to reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
