Senior Brand Ambassador role at De Beers flagship New York store. Drive luxury jewellery sales, mentor team, $79k–$84k USD + bonus.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance across all product categories with particular emphasis on high jewellery sales
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences and demonstrate comprehensive product expertise
  • Maintain client information and relationship records in accordance with company guidelines
  • Build and nurture strong client connections, particularly VIP and high-value clientele
  • Mentor and support less experienced Brand Ambassadors through knowledge sharing and training
  • Organise and deliver presentations showcasing diamond expertise and product knowledge
  • Ensure seamless client relationships and communication across multiple store locations and Head Office
  • Maintain vigilant oversight of staff and product security and safety protocols
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies whilst staying ahead of industry trends

Qualifications

  • Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages such as Spanish, Chinese, or Russian preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering fine jewellery sales results in luxury retail
  • Deep knowledge of jewellery with GIA certification preferred
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and strong understanding of the luxury retail industry
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of translating complex product information into accessible, engaging narratives
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value transactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), POS systems, and digital presentation tools
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment and communicate brand vision effectively

Experience

Proven record of delivering fine jewellery sales results in a luxury retail environment, with demonstrated expertise in high-value transactions and client relationship management. Experience mentoring junior sales staff and delivering product presentations in an upscale retail setting is essential.

Education

Secondary education or equivalent required; higher education in business, luxury management, or related field is advantageous. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification is preferred but not mandatory.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 79,000 to USD 84,000 per annum.
